Hi lovely reader, thank you for taking a few minutes of your time to read this, it’s not easy to write about oneself but I want my blog to be personal and true to myself so here goes; I was born in Sweden but I am living in Australia and I consider Australia my forever home. I call myself a “Swaussie” (Swedish Aussie) as I feel both European and Australian. I am a true introvert but I can talk to anyone about anything. People say I’m a good listener. That makes me happy. I am well and truly past the age of procreation, but definitely not past the age of caring about how I look and how I feel. Energy, kindness, humour, inquisitiveness, gentleness, and caring are some traits I look for and value in a person. I strive to show these traits in everything I do. This brings me to my reason for writing this blog! I was lucky enough to be taught healthy eating and living from an early age. My husband and I have two children (adults now) and I made sure these values were perpetuated in our daily lives. After a lifetime of cooking and eating clean wholefoods and staying active, it’s all very straightforward and easy for me. But in a world full of too much information and too many health tips floating around, many of you are overwhelmed and just don’t know where to start to change bad habits, to introduce better habits and how to bring on healthy life changes in a practical, no-nonsense way. This is where I can really help! My blog is about making practical changes one by one; step by step, improving daily and making sure the positive changes become the new habits. I am a very practical, pragmatic person and I believe anybody can make easy changes TODAY and reap the health benefit IMMEDIATELY without signing up to a branded program or having to spend a lot of money on supplements or such. Let go of the overwhelming feeling of “it’s too hard” and just START. I can help guide you. Every change you make for the better is good and it’s never too late.
